This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases made on StudyNested.
Our goal is to maintain a fair balance between customer convenience and the nature of school-specific
products which are packed according to class and school requirements.
1. Order Cancellation
Before Packing
Orders can be cancelled free of charge before they are packed for dispatch.
After Packing
If the order has already been packed, a small handling and packing charge
may be deducted from the refund amount.
After Dispatch
Once the order has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible.
You may still be eligible for exchange or replacement depending on product category
and conditions mentioned below.
2. Product Category Based Return Rules
A. School Kits (Books + Stationery Sets)
These products are prepared according to class and school requirements.
- Cancellation allowed only before dispatch
- Return not accepted after delivery
- Replacement allowed only for damaged, missing, or incorrect items
- Books and stationery sets accepted only if damaged and unboxing video is mandatory
- Customer must verify class and school details before placing the order
B. Uniforms, Shoes & Size-Based Products
We understand sizing issues may occur.
- Size exchange allowed within 7 days of delivery
- Product must be unused and in original packaging
- One exchange allowed per order
- Refund provided only if replacement size unavailable
- Return/exchange accepted only with unboxing video
C. Regular Products (Bag, Bottle, Accessories)
- Return request within 4 days of delivery
- Product must be unused and undamaged
- Refund processed after quality inspection
- Return/exchange accepted only with unboxing video
3. Damaged, Missing or Wrong Item
If you receive:
- Damaged product
- Missing item
- Incorrect product
Please contact us within 3 days of delivery with clear photos and
an unboxing video for return/exchange approval.
After verification, we will provide:
- Free replacement, or
- Full refund (if replacement unavailable)
4. Refund Processing
Refunds are issued to the original payment method:
- Prepaid orders → Refunded to original payment source
- COD orders → Refunded via bank transfer or UPI
Refund processing time: 7 working days after approval.
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error is from our side.
5. Delivery Refusal & Return to Origin (RTO)
If a customer refuses delivery after shipment:
- Shipping and return shipping cost will be deducted
- Future COD orders may be restricted
6. Non-Returnable Situations
Returns will not be accepted in the following cases:
- Wrong class selected by customer
- Wrong size selected without exchange request
- Used or damaged by customer
- Request made after allowed return window
- Missing original packaging
